Following an accident, when this Austin 7 special overturned and finished upside down. The car was totally stripped down and all damaged, bent or safety critical components replaced, including a new front axle and steering box. The car then had a full restoration and was remodelled to give a more vintage appearance and the ride height increased so it could be used for off road trials. The interior panels, floors and dashboard were remade and redesigned. New front wings were sourced and fitted, with the radiator shortened and moved backwards. The exhaust system was remade with a brooklands silencer and sand bent tail pipe. All finished off with an in house rewire in period correct cloth covered wire, new seats made from 1930s leather and a full respray, all done to maintain or enhance as much of its vintage patina as possible.
